DJ Akademiks criticized Russell Westbrook after he performed with Kendrick Lamar on stage.Numerous musicians have taken sides in the continuing spat between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, which has spread to other fan bases. DJ Akademiks, who has always stood for Drake, recently shared his opinions over Westbrook’s seeming endorsement of Kendrick Lamar.
At a recent concert, the nine-time All-Star and owner of numerous amazing NBA records was spotted dancing on the stage with DeMar DeRozan. Lamar was executing his diss track on Drake, “Not Like Us.” It was not favorably received by DJ Akademiks, who stated:
“N***a, you are not going to win a ring, you will never win one.”Of course, Westbrook still has yet to win a title in his storied career, which has seen him record four triple-double seasons. The Dallas Mavericks eliminated the Clippers, who had several superstars, in the opening round of the playoffs. Concerns regarding the future of several of its players are a major source of uncertainty for them right now.
Whatever happens, Westbrook will always be remembered as one of the most exceptionally gifted players the NBA has ever seen, and he leaves a lasting legacy.
