The couple has proudly shown their family the yacht that the tennis player recently acquired.
The new normal is gradually taking hold as the de-escalation progresses and, although we look at it with a mixture of enthusiasm and suspicion, the truth is that despite all the precautions we still have to take, there is more and more room to enjoy leisure, family and, the luckiest ones, the sea. Rafa Nadal has had a hard time adapting to a confinement situation that kept him away from the racket, as he himself has confessed on occasion, but the easing of restrictions has allowed him to gradually resume his routines , both training and moments of rest with the family. There is no doubt that his new catamaran, which is already docked in the Mallorcan town of Porto Cristo, will contribute to this.

Phase three of the de-escalation in the Balearic Islands already allows for an excursion through its warmth and calm waters, so there is no time to waste when it comes to getting the tennis player’s new yacht ready to sail the Mediterranean. Rafa and Mery, who we see in the images preparing everything necessary so that they do not lack anything on the high seas and collaborating with the cleaning tasks, have shown their yacht to Sebastián, the tennis player’s father, and Maribel, his sister , with whom they both have an excellent relationship. Both the couple, as well as their companions, wore a very nautical and comfortable look , consisting of shorts and a cap, perfect so that the first rays of sun do not play a trick on them.

On board your new catamaran
The 12-time Roland Garros winner and his family can finally enjoy their newly acquired yacht. Last summer, he put his old boat, the 23-metre Beethoven, up for sale for 2.6 million euros after three years with it. Before they had time to miss it , the tennis player bought a 24-metre 80 Sunreef Power catamaran, valued at 5.5 million euros. Now, at the dawn of summer and after the tough lockdown, the time has come to make the most of the purchase.

Nadal, who turned 34 just a few days ago, has been able to enjoy a birthday full of emotions and which seems to culminate with this family getaway . His sister Maribel dedicated one of the most emotional congratulations to him along with an adorable photograph of the two of them by the sea, to which they have both been so close since they were practically babies, but the surprises did not end there. Upon his arrival at one of the tennis courts at his academy, the athlete found several students sitting in the stands and strategically placed to maintain the pertinent safety distance required by the COVID-19 contagion prevention protocols. Suddenly , all the players began to sing Happy Birthday to him in English while the tennis player showed his best smile while continuing to be excited by the endearing detail that culminated in a spectacular cake that lacked no detail and also included the popular logo that represents the Manacor native: the stylized silhouette of a black bull.
