Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner entertained the Monegasque public at a promotional event held near the Larvotto Beach complex. The two played a mini tennis match and entertained the spectators with amusing exchanges and fantastic impersonations.

The Serbian, in particular, tried to imitate Daniil Medvedev, the last tennis player capable of beating him in an official tournament this year. Djokovic and Sinner challenged each other in a short exhibition match, but soon they will have to get serious on the tennis court.

The two were drawn in the same portion of the draw and could create a spectacular quarter-final match. Both will take advantage of the bye in the first round and will debut directly in the second round. The Belgrader will find on the other side of the net one between Brandon Nakashima and Mackenzie McDonald; while the top seed in his path bears the name and surname of Lorenzo Musetti.

Djokovic did not start the clay court season in the best way last season and made up for a bad defeat against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in Monte-Carlo, a tournament in which he has not reached the quarterfinals in the Principality since 2019.

The obstacle to overcome in the round of 16, at least on paper, should be Hubert Hurkacz.

The Pole fell short of expectations at the Masters 1000 in Indian Wells and Miami and opened his clay campaign with a tough defeat to Bernabe Zapata Miralles. Sinner, for his part, will start from the two important results achieved in the United States.

The Italian went all the way to the semifinals in California and then played his second final in a 1000m event at the Miami Open. The semifinal in Indian Wells and the final in Miami crowned Jannik Sinner even more than in the past.

The blue tennis player is now considered one of the pillars of the future and also of the present of tennis. Many current stars of the circuit and many former tennis players have arrived to reiterate it. And now the clay-swing coulf bring other good news for the Italian.
