George A. Gratsos Ph.D., a shipowner and member of the MIT engineering class of 1965, took over ownership after G.D. Gratsos S.A. and made the following improvements:

The expertly modified bonnet now has air vents and a blister to accommodate the change.

I upgraded the front brakes on my MB 280SL from drums to discs. 205/55 x 16 tires mounted on alloy wheels of the 16BBS kind.

Keyboard in the middle with supplementary displays.

A steering wheel with a handmade wood rim.

Recaro seats with headrests and leather upholstery inside. Safety belts with four points! Nobody ever raced the automobile!

Wing mirrors from the “racing” era.

Brake lights with marchal fog lights.

The owner has specified a silver red and navy blue color scheme.

We repainted the wind screen pillars to fit the color scheme.

When it was lay up for tax reasons, the original license plate, BO-7706 Gr, was returned to the state.

Certification No. 061924, FIVA Identity Card, Category E/3, License No. H.F. FILPA 6980. Serial number: 203,188 kilometers driven

Details: 12104010023401 chassis, 12192810001324 engine

We have the original hardtop, aluminum intake duct, brake and steering accessories, belts, seat belts, speakers, intake manifold, Solex carburetors, and amplifier on hand. Until the current owner laid it up and stored it in the heated garage of their house around 1990, the automobile was driven frequently. As is customary for historic vehicles in Greece, it is now often driven.

The aforementioned tasks, together with car servicing, were carried out by a number of specialists and the VIAMAX and MERSER Mercedes-Benz concessions.
