“A dog may be man’s best friend, but horses wrote history” goes the well-known saying. While some horse owners might disagree, it’s true that both horses and dogs play important roles in today’s society, as they have done for thousands of years.

Being predator and prey, dogs and horses have very different instincts. When feeling threatened, a horse’s first reaction is to run, while dogs choose to fight instead. However, this doesn’t stop them from getting along and even playing together!
